Joints to the building had started to break down and was discovered very little cement was in the mortar.
A clear sealer was placed over the entire facade to protect the outer skin from the weather elements.
When the building constructed in there were no lintels placed over the window heads, instead steel rods where placed in the joint which over time have rusted and cracked window heads.
All windows all damaged from the extreme weather on the harbour
The Building Solution
Once again building mortar taken out to a depth of 20mm and injected in with repointing guns.
All steel removed above windows and replaced with hot dipped galvanised lintels.
Windows painted with 3 coated of paint to bring back its former glory.
The building was done in stages dues to the amount of dust which escapes from the dust extraction systems.
